Camera Equipment & Thoughts about Photography.
I shot both digital and film. I feel different situations in nature photography lend themselves to each media. For example digital is most appropriate for shooting wildlife. The advantage of digital is the immediate feedback ("did i get the shot?"), flexibility to change ISO speed (higher ISO for action). Whereas traditional landscape photography (bigger prints) lends itself to film. The strength of film is its richness of color, tonality and level of detail (aka resolution). I try to practice an Eastern Philosophy when I am out shooting I must become "aware" of my surroundings, taking in not just the sight's, but sound's, smell's and "feel" of the location is very important in my creative process.
